What distinguishes technically good photos of really beautiful images is the eye of the photographer. I only get a certain feeling that a picture is something special when I have the sense of the moment.
Shanghai has excellent opportunities to pursue my passion to capture moments. Its beauty reflects in areas where new shiny skyscrapers stand next to two-storey lane houses which will be demolished soon. Even more I can see in the faces of the people living there. A face reflects the daily experiences as well as wishes and concerns. When I dive into it, for example in Shanghais old streets, I am rewarded with loads of memories I can keep.
